HOMEWORK

Homework reinforces what has been taught. It develops independent study skills and contributes to a sense of responsibility. Students should expect some homework each night. Some students can accomplish more than others in the same time span, therefore, the following is offered as a homework “guide”:

• Grades 1 & 2   (15 to 30 minutes )

• Grades 3 through 5   (30 to 60 minutes )

• Grades 6 through 8   (1 to 2 hours )
