The marking system for Grades 3 through 8 is:
A (100-90) Excellent work, showing originality through preparation and understanding.
A+ 98-100
A 93-97
A- 90-92
B (89-80) Above average, shows a good record of achievement.
B+ 87-89
B 83-86
B- 80-82
C (79-70) Average, shows satisfactory completion of course requirements.
C+ 77-79
C 73-76
C- 70-72
D (69-65) Passing but indicates a student seems to lack proper foundation in the subject to proceed in a sequential program.
D+ 68-69
D 67
D- 65-66
F (64-Below) Failing; frequently indicates a lack of effort and suggests a student may have severe future difficulty in related subjects.
I (Incomplete) At teacher’s discretion, an incomplete grade may be assigned to a student when an extended excused absence has not allowed sufficient time to complete make-up work. After a two-week extension, grades may be changed to an F if work is still not completed.
